Summer is so hectic, I hate to miss writing, but it's not always possible. However, just because I miss a day or two of writing doesn't mean that God isn't on my mind and in my heart. God goes with me EVERYWHERE!
My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.
He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.
In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.

God is always there for His children. The only expectations we need to be concerned about living up to are God's. As long as we rely on Him, we'll be just fine. God is the rock we can cling to during storms that arise in life. God is the fortress we can reside in during the battles we may face. God is the strength that we can rely on to carry us when we are weak. God is the glory our souls can bask in. God is the salvation we need to walk with Him and His Son forever. Trust in Him always and He will never abandon You, particularly in life's toughest times.
Lord, thank You for always being by my side. Thank You for blessing me as You have. Lord, please watch over my family, friends, and pets; please bless them and keep them safe and strong, happy and healthy. Please bless those who defend Your name and this country; please keep them safe and bring them home safe. Please bless their families and friends with serenity and strength in times of separation and/or loss. Please bless those who are in greatest need of blessing and defending. Please bless them with family members and/or friends whom You can work through to bring them closer to You. Lord, please, if it is in Your plans, let me help to spread Your word. Please work through me as You see fit. I trust You, Lord, with all my heart. Whatever You have planned for me is what I will do. Please cleanse me of my sins and continue to guide me down Your path of righteousness. Please continue to bless me as You have, for it is greatly appreciated. Lord, I love You with all of my heart and soul and I always will. I will follow You and only You forever and always. Thank You for You and Your Son infinitely. In Jesus' precious name, Amen.
