Day 85: No One Else

God is here. The evidence is infinite. Look closely at any flower--and I mean really examine it closely--and you will see how perfectly complex it is. How could something like that just spring up without someone creating it? Look at the animals and all the amazing adaptations that they have. Do you really expect me to believe that they just appeared after some huge explosion? Honestly, how could we have ever evolved from apes??? That's just ridiculous. God made them, and that's that. No matter where you look, God is there.

Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the LORD he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.
~Deuteronomy 4:39 (KJV)

I don't care what anyone says--God exists and He created everything and everyone and I love Him for it. Without God, I wouldn't be here. And God is everywhere. Yes, He is in Heaven, but He resides in all people and all things, and is therefore on earth as well. God is here, and I know it. I've felt Him with me on several occasions. Just this morning I was feeling a little blue, so I got down on my knees and I started praying to God to give me strength and help me through whatever it is I'm currently facing. Just as I was on the brink of tears, I somehow felt different, and was instantly compelled to stand up, wipe my eyes, and go do something constructive. And I did. And it felt good. I know it could only have been God.

Everyone goes through tough times, and that's a fact. But no matter what any one of us goes through, God is always there for us because God is EVERYWHERE! He is in every tree, every animal, every plant, every rock, every molecule of water, every atom of every element both known and unknown to man. HE IS HERE!!! How amazing is that?! You can talk to God ANYWHERE! He has the ability to be with each and every one of us every second of every day. He is a shield and a beacon to all who wish to walk with Him. No matter what happens, I know that God will NEVER abandon any of His children, including me!

Lord, thank You for this day. Thank You for always being with me and loving me unconditionally. Lord, I love You with all my heart and all my soul and all my being. And even when I'm going through tough times and things look bleak, I know that You are with me, and that whatever happens, You will never leave me or stop loving me. You are so amazing, and I love You more than words could ever say and I always will. Lord, I ask that You please watch over my family, friends, and pets, and I ask that You please keep them safe and strong, happy and healthy. Please watch over the men and women who serve You and this country; please guard them and guide them and bring them home safe. Please also watch over their family members and friends and comfort them in times of separation and/or loss. Please watch over those who need You most--those who are misjudged, mistreated, misunderstood, sick, lonely, sad, or scared. Please provide for those who cannot provide for themselves and/or their families. Please bless all of them with good Christian family members and/or friends whom You can work through to guide them to better times. Lord, thank You for every blessing You have ever given to me. I appreciate every single bit of it. No matter what I am given, Lord, I know that it's what You know I need at the time. No matter what situation I am in, Lord, I know that it's right where I'm supposed to be at the time. No matter where You take me, I will gladly follow You. Please, Lord, cleanse me of my sins and continue to guide me down Your path forever. Jesus Christ, You are my Lord and Savior and I will never leave You. You are my comfort and my strength, and I love You, Lord. I am Yours forever and always no matter what! In Jesus' name, Amen.
